Goals and Objectives
The Warren County Conservation District was established in 1945. Its original mission was to provide technical and educational assistance to farmers in controlling soil erosion. Our role has expanded to include all land and homeowners with assistance in solving natural resource concerns.
The District is a subdivision of state government and is governed by a seven member elected board of supervisors who serve a four year term. The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month and on occasion special meetings may be called. Financial assistance is provided by Warren County Fiscal Court and the Kentucky Division of Conservation.
To achieve our future goals and objectives the District will:
Promote and implement natural resource practices that will improve and sustain our soil, water, air, and wildlife in Warren County.
Promote conservation education throughout Warren County.
Work with other agricultural, educational, environmental, and governmental agencies on a daily basis to ensure the goals are carried out.
Our Mission: To provide technical and educational assistance to all landand homeowners in solving natural resource concerns.
